leaves
I've made the following adjustments to how leaves work.
- oak, dark oak, and jungle leaves will change per biome, as they do in vanilla
- in the autumn pack, they'll appear orange-to-brownish
- in the summer pack, they'll appear green
- dark oak leaves are now brighter than oak (in vanilla, they are the same brightness)
- acacia and mangrove leaves no longer change per biome; their colors persist
- spruce and birch leaves are warmed
- cherry leaves & pink petals are adjusted
- in the autumn pack, they'll appear red
- in the summer pack, they'll appear pink
- flowering azalea leaves and lilacs are changed to match
- in the autumn pack, they'll appear a deeper plum color
- in the summer pack, they'll appear a lighter lilac color
The screenshots below indicate how each leaf block now appears in the taiga biomes. Colors will change per biome, with colder biomes being less saturated and warmer ones being more saturated. I've lined them up to create a sort of "gradient" that I keep in mind when using the foliage.

other foliage & water
Many other plants are desaturated and darkened, as is the water. A few other notable changes:
- ferns are a persistent bright green
- tall ferns appear as a taller spruce sapling
- spruce, birch and acacia saplings match their respective leaves
- firefly bushes no longer blink
I intend to keep adding more texture changes.
