Cobblemon: Perfect Partners 2.0

Perfect Partners is all about making your Pokémon feel a little more like companions. Pet them, travel together, build friendship, earn ribbons, collect Shiny Leaves, and give your favorite partners a bit more personality.

This version brings the main parts of the mod together in a cleaner way, with more ways to bond, train, customize, and show off your Pokémon.

Partner Bonding

Spend time with your Pokémon and build friendship through simple everyday interactions.

  • Pet your Pokémon.
  • Travel with your Pokémon.
  • Spend time near your Pokémon.
  • Build friendship over time.
  • Get heart particles and feedback during happy interactions.
  • Use the dedicated Pet Interaction keybind.
  • Petting builds friendship and the Cute Contest condition.
  • Petting supports first-person and third-person animations.

Contest Conditions

Train Contest-style stats by doing different things with your Pokémon.

  • Cool — battle wins.
  • Beauty — item use.
  • Cute — petting.
  • Smart — using useful blocks and workstations.
  • Tough — travelling with your Pokémon.

You can view each condition separately, track progress, and unlock cosmetic rewards through Contest training.

Ribbons, Marks, and Titles

Give your Pokémon special accomplishments and a little extra style.

  • Pokémon can earn special ribbons.
  • Custom titles are supported.
  • Titles can be used as prefixes or suffixes.
  • Custom titles let you personalize favorite Pokémon.

Auras and Visual Flair

Bonded Pokémon can unlock extra visual effects.

  • Unlock aura effects.
  • Select auras through commands.
  • Show visual effects around bonded Pokémon.
  • Adjust particle intensity through config.

Shiny Leaves

Shiny Leaves are a small collection goal for favorite Pokémon.

  • Pokémon can discover Shiny Leaves while travelling.

  • Each Pokémon can collect five leaves:

    • Leaf A
    • Leaf B
    • Leaf C
    • Leaf D
    • Leaf E

  • Leaf locations depend on the Pokémon’s nature.

  • Different nature groups search in different biome types.

  • Collect all five leaves to earn a Leaf Crown.

Partner Gifts

Pokémon can bring back gifts while travelling with you.

  • Gift chances can depend on friendship.
  • Gifts can be accepted by interacting with the Pokémon.
  • Gift pools can be customized.
  • Servers can adjust how often gifts appear.
  • Server configs can control gift chances, requirements, and pickup behavior.

Trainer Cards and Certificates

Show off your partner’s progress with simple visual records.

  • View partner details.
  • Display friendship progress.
  • Show Contest condition progress.
  • Show Shiny Leaf progress.
  • View Leaf Crown certificates.
  • View partner certificates.
  • Celebrate completed or well-loved Pokémon.

Partner Journal

The Partner Journal is the in-game guide for Perfect Partners.

  • Players receive a journal when joining a world.
  • Use it to open the guide.
  • Sneak-use it to open the partner tracker.
  • Craft replacement journals if needed.

The journal covers friendship, petting, gifts, Contest stats, ribbons, Shiny Leaves, certificates, and commands.

Contest Music and MIDI Songs

Add your own music for contests using MIDI files.

  • Add .mid or .midi files to the MIDI folder.
  • Use MIDI files for contest songs.
  • Open the MIDI folder from the in-game song editor.
  • Manage custom songs through the contest song interface.

Friendship Bracelet

The Friendship Bracelet gives players another way to support partner growth.
